In 2013, the Revive Adserver open source project was celebrating its 5th anniversary. At the time, we clearly noticed that a lot of people were eager to use our software, but did not have the time, the skills, or the resources to create their own self-hosted installation. Therefore, we decided to make the Revive Adserver software accessible to a lot more users by launching the Hosted Edition. This turned out to be a game-changer, by making our ad serving system accessible to a broader audience, from small website owners to large enterprises.
