Version 5.3 of the Revive Adserver software is primarily a technical update, preparing the software to be ready for future versions of PHP. There are also a number of bugs that have been fixed in this version.

We updated the Revive Adserver Hosted edition to the most recent software version 5.3.

This newest release of the Revive Adserver software is mostly a technical update, preparing the software for the newer versions of the PHP programming language that’s at the core of the software.

End-user changes in v5.3.0 (14 September 2021)

In addition to the behind-the-scenes changes mentioned above, we also fixed a number of bugs in this version of the software:

  • We fixed hourly breakdown statistics links from daily history pages not working properly.
  • We removed a useless option to add a cache buster when generating async tags.
  • We fixed an issue with the maintenance delivery rules check screen not properly working.

End-user changes in v5.3.1 (26 October 2021)

We fixed a number of bugs in this new version of the software:

  • We added missing “from” and “to” labels in the date selectors of the statistics screens.
  • We fixed an issue preventing tracker account preferences from being displayed in the menus.
  • We fixed an issue causing “access denied” error messages on some statistics pages, e.g. campaign banners.
  • We fixed the ‘redirection upon click’ on legacy image tags leading to a white page instead of the destination URL of the banner.
